Three floors of possibilities await at Trading Post Coffee Roasters on Kensington Gardens, where we've turned a Brighton coffee shop into something much more versatile. Our ground floor buzzes with the energy of North Laine - guests settle into comfortable spots inside or claim tables outside for prime people-watching territory. But the real magic happens when you climb up to our rooftop terrace, where Brighton spreads out below while you sip coffee or cocktails depending on the time of day. We roast our own artisan coffee right here, and our kitchen team works with local suppliers to create a menu that keeps vegetarian and vegan guests just as happy as everyone else. Everything's made with organic ingredients where possible - it's just how we like to do things. Mornings start early at 7:30am with the smell of fresh coffee, and our kitchen keeps serving until 3:30pm on weekdays (4:00pm weekends). When Thursday evening rolls around, we switch gears completely. The coffee machines make way for our bartenders who craft both classic cocktails and our signature coffee-infused creations. Our DJs set up, sharing platters replace the daytime menu, and suddenly you're at one of Brighton's most interesting evening venues. This transformation continues through Friday and Saturday nights too. For private events, we can accommodate up to 60 guests across our different levels. Whether you need the whole building or just the rooftop for your celebration, corporate gathering, or filming project, we work on a minimum spend basis rather than charging hire fees. The flexibility of our space means we've hosted everything from birthday brunches to evening corporate parties, each taking advantage of our unique setup in their own way.
