Our architectural studio at Unit Z sits tucked away in a quiet mews yard in Stockwell, where Victorian-era abattoir buildings have been transformed into contemporary workspaces. We're David Money Architects, and since 2002, we've been crafting residential architecture from this light-filled corner of SW9. The space reflects how we work - open, collaborative, with fixed desks arranged to encourage conversation between our team and the creative professionals who share the studio with us. Natural materials feature throughout: exposed timber beams meet polished concrete floors, while large windows flood the workspace with northern light that architects prize for its consistency. We've designed the office to function like the homes we create for clients - every element serves a purpose. The main studio accommodates our drafting tables and computer stations, with pin-up walls where we develop projects from initial sketches through to construction details. Our private meeting room works perfectly for client presentations or when you need focused discussion space away from the gentle hum of the studio. Getting here couldn't be simpler. Oval tube station is a ten-minute walk through residential streets, while Stockwell station sits just eight minutes away.
