We've been hosting meetings and celebrations here for years, and our space offers something special – the character of a historic building combined with everything modern groups need. Our assembly hall accommodates up to 100 people comfortably, making it perfect for larger community meetings, birthday parties, or workshop sessions. The room features free Wi-Fi throughout, and we've recently added charging points at the comfortable seating areas so your devices stay powered during longer events. Just around the corner from Walthamstow Central underground station, getting here couldn't be easier for your guests. Beyond the main hall, we have two additional meeting rooms and our newly redesigned children's room available for smaller gatherings or breakout sessions. The meeting pods work brilliantly for business groups who need focused discussion spaces. Our café area provides a natural spot for networking breaks or pre-meeting coffees. We host everything from educational workshops to cultural celebrations in these spaces. The children's room, with its direct access to baby-changing facilities and buggy parking, has become particularly popular for kids' parties and family events. Our computer access points and extensive resource collection mean educational groups often choose us for training sessions and workshops. Room hire runs £92.00 per hour, and we offer discounts for concessionary groups and regular hirers. Since we're a working library, bookings are available outside our opening hours – evenings after 7pm Monday through Friday, after 6pm on Saturdays, and after 4pm on Sundays. This arrangement gives you exclusive use of the space without the daytime library traffic, creating a more private atmosphere for your event.
