About WEST Brewery
Our brewery sits in the magnificent Templeton Building on Glasgow Green, where Victorian industrial architecture meets modern German brewing tradition. We're the only UK brewery crafting all our artisan lagers and ales according to the German Purity Law of 1516 - just water, malt, hops and yeast, nothing else. The Courtyard makes quite an impression with its 15-foot glass wall that looks directly onto our working brewery. Your guests can watch our brewers at work while enjoying drinks on the original wooden floors, surrounded by exposed Victorian brickwork. We can seat 120 for dinner here, or fit 200 for standing receptions. The space has its own private bar and cloakroom, plus all the AV equipment you'll need for presentations or entertainment. For smaller gatherings, The Hop Room provides a more intimate setting. Natural light floods in through windows on three sides, highlighting the dark wood paneling. We can accommodate up to 60 guests here, and like The Courtyard, it comes with its own bar, cloakroom and AV facilities. Our kitchen team has created a menu that brings together German brewing traditions with Scottish ingredients. Everything pairs perfectly with our award-winning lagers and wheat beers, all brewed right here behind that glass wall. We handle all the catering in-house, so you're getting food designed specifically to complement our beers. Practical details matter for parties - we offer free parking on-site, and yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome too. Our dedicated events team works with birthday parties, product launches, office celebrations and corporate events regularly. Both spaces give you flexibility to create the atmosphere you want, whether that's a formal seated dinner or a relaxed standing reception with brewery tours between rounds.
