About West Reservoir Centre
Our 1930s red-brick tower rises directly from the water's edge, where the original hydraulic machinery still stands as a striking centerpiece in our main event space. The West Reservoir Centre began life as a filter house, and we've carefully preserved these industrial features while transforming the building into one of Hackney's most distinctive venues. The Main Tower draws everyone who enters—those floor-to-ceiling windows frame the reservoir perfectly, and on sunny days, light dances across the water and fills the entire room. We can arrange this space for 200 guests at standing receptions, or set theatre-style seating for 170. Many couples choose this room for wedding ceremonies, watching the sunset reflect off the lake as they exchange vows. Our Seminar Room offers the same spectacular water views on a more intimate scale. We regularly host board meetings and training sessions here for up to 50 people, and the natural light keeps everyone energized throughout the day. Between sessions, delegates often step out onto our waterside terraces for coffee breaks at the café. What makes us genuinely different is the combination of indoor elegance and outdoor activities.
