About Westminster Boating Base
Our riverside venue at Westminster Boating Base sits right on the Thames in Pimlico Gardens, where the water practically laps at our doorstep. We've got two distinct spaces that work brilliantly for parties - the Pavilion Room, which holds up to 100 seated or 150 standing, and the more intimate Edgson Room for smaller celebrations. The thing that really sets us apart is the glass - floor-to-ceiling windows wrap around both rooms, giving you and your guests those Thames views from every angle. When the weather cooperates, we open up the riverfront balconies so people can step outside with their drinks and watch the boats go by. The natural light during daytime events is spectacular, and at night, the river lights create quite the atmosphere. We've equipped both spaces with high-speed Wi-Fi and all the AV kit you might need, whether you're planning speeches, presentations, or just want background music. The layout is completely flexible - we can arrange tables for a formal dinner, clear the floor for dancing, or set up cocktail-style for mingling. Everything's fully accessible too, with proper facilities for disabled guests. Being a working boating base adds something special to events here. If you're interested, we can arrange watersports activities as part of your celebration - nothing breaks the ice quite like getting your team out on the water.
