You know that feeling when you walk into a space and it just works? That's what we aim for here at Whitechapel Gallery. Since 1901, artists have been making their mark in our galleries—and now you can too, whether that's for a product launch, team workshop, or drinks reception with a difference. Our spaces range from the intimate (think focused board meetings in our education studios) to the dramatic (our main galleries clear out to become stunning event venues). The auditorium seats 225 and has hosted everything from TED-style talks to film premieres. We've got all the practical stuff sorted—professional kitchen, full bar setup, AV that actually works, and lifts to every floor. But here's what really makes events here special: your guests get to mingle where Picasso had his first UK show, where Jackson Pollock introduced abstract expressionism to Britain. There's an energy here that generic conference centers just can't match. Our events team knows these spaces inside out and can help you work out exactly which combination suits your plans.
