We've been welcoming guests to York House Hotel since the late 1770s, and our building's original features - from the period cornicing to the carefully preserved woodwork - provide a distinguished backdrop for your business gatherings. Our two meeting spaces offer flexibility for different group sizes. The Downstairs Meeting Room works beautifully for board meetings and training sessions with up to 45 delegates, while our 1st Floor Function Room transforms to accommodate larger conferences of up to 120 guests. Both rooms come equipped with projection facilities and Wi-Fi, and we've maintained the Georgian proportions that give each space its sense of grandeur without feeling overwhelming. Being just a short walk from Wakefield Westgate railway station makes us particularly convenient for delegates traveling from Leeds, London, or Manchester. We offer 20 en-suite rooms for those who need overnight accommodation, each thoughtfully appointed with flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, and tea and coffee facilities.
