Every summer, the Serpentine Pavilion transforms Kensington Gardens into something extraordinary. We commission a different world-renowned architect each year to create this temporary structure, meaning your party takes place within a one-of-a-kind architectural masterpiece that exists for just a few precious months between June and October. This year's design features bold geometric forms and innovative materials that create natural gathering points throughout the space. We can accommodate up to 500 guests for standing receptions, where people naturally flow between the open areas, drinks in hand, as daylight shifts to evening illumination. For seated dinners, we arrange tables for up to 70 guests, creating an intimate atmosphere within the pavilion's dramatic framework. The structure comes fully equipped with waterproof covering, integrated lighting systems, and power supply points positioned throughout. Our in-built bar serves as a natural focal point, while the open design means guests can drift between indoor and outdoor spaces as conversations develop. During evening events, architectural lighting transforms the pavilion into a glowing beacon against the parkland backdrop, creating those Instagram moments your guests will share instantly using our complimentary Wi-Fi. Previous architects have included Zaha Hadid, Frank Gehry, and Oscar Niemeyer, each bringing their distinctive vision to the space. The surrounding gardens provide a verdant contrast to the contemporary structure, with mature trees framing views in every direction. South Kensington and Lancaster Gate stations are both within walking distance, offering multiple transport connections for your guests. We work with caterers who understand how to maximise the pavilion's unique layout, whether you're planning a product launch, birthday celebration, or corporate summer party.
