The moment you step into our Music Hall, that magnificent domed ceiling draws your eyes upward, where natural light pours through the skylights by day and our famous giant mirror ball takes over after dark. This top-floor space has hosted some of Manchester's most memorable parties since we opened these doors in 1878, and we're excited to help you create your own unforgettable celebration here. Our tiered seating wraps around the room, giving all 260 of your standing guests perfect sightlines to the stage, which sits ready with its rich red curtains for whatever entertainment you have in mind. The wooden floors have felt the footsteps of countless dancing feet, while our walls display an eclectic collection of vintage speakers that add character to the already impressive sound system we have installed. Your private bar runs along one side of the room, fully stocked and staffed just for your party. We've carefully preserved the original features that make this space special, from the quirky wallpaper to the architectural details that catch the light when that mirror ball starts spinning. The exclusive use of this floor means you get your own smoking area and dedicated toilets, so your guests never have to venture downstairs. Our professional PA and lighting setup handles everything from live bands to DJs effortlessly, and we have all the technical equipment ready to go.
