Pool cues lean against rich red walls in our underground Club Room, where Victorian banking vaults once stored gold and now house something far more entertaining. This former strongroom beneath our 1891 bank building has traded security doors for a full-size pool table that draws players into friendly competition throughout the evening. With space for 35 standing guests, the Club Room wraps you in warmth with its deep crimson walls and amber lighting that bounces off the polished wooden floors. We've kept the intimate scale deliberate – parties here feel more like gathering in your own private members' club, complete with the satisfying crack of pool balls and the hum of good conversation. The entertainment extends beyond the green felt. Our plasma screen sits ready for presentations or match days, while the karaoke machine has witnessed some truly memorable performances (and some best forgotten). The PA system handles everything from background jazz to party playlists, and with WiFi throughout, you can stream whatever sets the right mood or bring your own DJ to take control of the atmosphere. Our kitchen sends down the same modern British small plates served upstairs, designed for eating while standing, chatting, and challenging colleagues to "just one more game." The bar service continues seamlessly down here too, with our bartenders happy to keep the cocktails flowing or suggest wines that pair perfectly with whatever you're celebrating. The separate entrance means your group can come and go without disturbing the main restaurant, particularly handy for corporate teams who tend to lose track of time around the pool table. Just 200 metres from St Paul's Cathedral and moments from both Blackfriars and St Paul's stations, finding us is straightforward, and yes, we've ensured full wheelchair access throughout.
