Step through the sliding doors of our Junior Ranks Mess and you'll find yourself in one of HMS President's most characterful spaces, where naval heritage meets contemporary comfort. This room has served countless purposes over the years, and today we've transformed it into a versatile space that works brilliantly for intimate gatherings of up to 30 guests. The first thing our guests notice is the light. Those generous windows frame constantly changing views of the Thames, from morning joggers along the riverbank to evening lights dancing on the water. We've arranged plush leather sofas along the walls, creating natural conversation areas, while wooden tables and stools provide flexible seating options throughout the room. Maritime artwork tells stories of the ship's history, giving your event that authentic naval atmosphere you won't find anywhere else. Our fully equipped bar sits neatly in the corner, ready to serve everything from morning coffee to evening cocktails. We work with preferred caterers who understand the unique requirements of serving aboard ship, though you're welcome to bring your own alcohol too - we're licensed until 23:00. Those sliding doors open directly onto our outdoor deck, where guests naturally drift during drinks receptions, especially on those long summer evenings.
