The Arches at Lost in Brixton Bar sits within two original brick railway arches, remnants of Victorian engineering that we've transformed into something rather special. The exposed brickwork curves overhead, lit by clusters of woven pendant lights that cast a warm glow across the space come evening. We've kept the industrial bones but softened them with plenty of greenery—proper plants, not plastic, that our bar manager tends to between mixing drinks. The long wooden tables and benches work brilliantly for big groups who want to eat, drink and actually hear each other talk. During daylight hours, the arched windows let in streams of natural light, and you can watch Brixton life unfold below. Your own dedicated bar lives in this space, stocked with proper rum including Ron Santiago de Cuba for those who know their spirits. Our bartenders will keep your guests happy while you focus on celebrating. The semi-private setup means you get the buzz of the main venue without random strangers wandering through your party. We can squeeze 100 people in here for a standing reception, or seat the same number banquet-style if you're after a proper sit-down affair. Birthday parties tend to start civilised at the tables before inevitably becoming dance floors. Corporate events appreciate the separation from the main bar, wedding receptions love the brick backdrop for photos. Brixton Station is literally three minutes' walk, both tube and train, so nobody's got an excuse for leaving early. We're licensed until 11:30pm and you can bring in your own caterers if our menu doesn't suit, or work with our kitchen team who know the space inside out. The whole area's wheelchair accessible too, with step-free routes throughout. Book early for Friday nights and anything in summer, when everyone suddenly remembers we exist up here above the market.
