Our Terrace transforms from morning coffee spot to evening party destination as the River Avon flows past just metres away. This semi-private space wraps around the side of our restored transit shed, where cargo ships once unloaded their goods right where your guests will be raising their glasses. We've strung festoon lights through the greenery that frames the space, creating that golden hour glow even after sunset. The bistro-style seating works brilliantly for relaxed gatherings of up to 50, while we can accommodate 80 guests for standing receptions. The layout naturally encourages mingling, with people drifting between the bar area and the quieter corners overlooking the water. Bristol's floating harbour provides the backdrop here, with narrowboats and river taxis gliding past throughout your event. During summer parties, we've watched swans paddle by as guests tuck into sharing platters of local seafood. The space catches the afternoon sun beautifully, and when evening arrives, those string lights combined with candlelit tables create an atmosphere that gets everyone in the mood to celebrate. Our bartenders work their magic just inside, sending out trays of Britz (our beloved British fizz) and craft cocktails made with spirits from Bristol distilleries. The kitchen team plates up everything from canapés to full three-course meals, with dishes arriving hot despite the outdoor setting. We've hosted everything from 30th birthdays to product launches out here, and the flexibility of the space means we can adapt the setup to match your plans. The Terrace connects seamlessly to our main restaurant, so larger parties often spill between both spaces. We've got heaters for cooler evenings, and the partial covering means a bit of British drizzle won't dampen spirits. Our PA system handles speeches and background music, while accessible facilities and nearby parking at Wapping Wharf make logistics straightforward for all your guests.
