The white brick walls of Studio 1 transform throughout the day, catching different qualities of light that photographers and filmmakers know make all the difference. This 3,000-square-foot space wraps around three sides of our building on Mare Street, giving you natural light from morning through to golden hour. We've watched fashion brands shoot their lookbooks here, beauty companies capture product launches, and creative directors bring their wildest concepts to life. The smooth cement floors mean you can roll equipment anywhere without worry, while the infinity coves eliminate hours of post-production work when you need those clean, floating product shots or portrait sessions. Your crew of up to 75 people will have everything they need right here. Each shooting bay comes with its own makeup and styling zone, already set up with clothing rails, hangers, and a steamer so your stylists can work without interruption. Between takes, everyone gravitates to our shared kitchen area where the kettle's always on and fresh coffee keeps the energy up through long shooting days. The professional lighting rigs stay ready on standby, along with reflectors, free-standing backdrops, and those essential wind machines for movement shots. Rather than coordinating external equipment hire, everything's here when you need it. Our retouching team works just upstairs too, so if you need quick edits or that final polish, they can jump in without the usual back-and-forth of remote collaboration. London Fields station sits just minutes away, making client visits and equipment deliveries straightforward. When hunger strikes, The Green Papaya serves excellent Thai food, The Finch Cafe does proper brunches, and The Bakehouse supplies the sugar rush for afternoon slumps, all within a short walk from our Mare Street entrance.
