Behind the main bar area of Mr Fogg's Pawnbrokers lies The Strong Room, our most secretive space where Victorian treasures gleam behind glass-fronted display cabinets. We've preserved the original vaulted ceiling of this former stronghold, now home to 19th-century jewels and curious artifacts that catch the light from our collection of mismatched chandeliers and vintage lamps. The room holds 25 guests for standing receptions or 12 seated in a U-shape arrangement, making it perfect for birthday dinners, engagement parties, or corporate celebrations that require a touch more privacy. Rich patterned carpets cover the floors, while our walls display intricate Victorian wallpaper that creates an intimate backdrop for photographs. We've arranged luxurious armchairs and plush sofas throughout the space, encouraging your guests to settle in for proper conversations rather than quick hellos. Our bartenders can serve directly into The Strong Room, mixing cocktails in antique vessels while your group enjoys exclusive use of this hidden chamber.
