Six local beer enthusiasts converted this former solicitor's office into something rather special, and the upstairs room has become our most requested party space. The first-floor setting gives your celebration its own world above the micropub, with those large windows flooding the room with natural light and offering views over Lewisham Way's daily theatre. We've kept the original wooden floors and added mustard-coloured walls that warm up the space, while local artists' work brings character to every corner. The mix of plush green armchairs and vintage wooden seats means your guests can settle in properly, whether they're catching up over drinks or dancing later on. Our ceiling-mounted Bose speakers connect via Bluetooth, so your party playlist comes through crystal clear. The room holds 30 people standing or 20 seated, and we'll arrange everything to suit your celebration. Want one long banquet table for a birthday dinner? Done. Prefer scattered seating areas for a more relaxed engagement party? We'll set that up too. The flexible layout has worked brilliantly for everything from 40th birthdays to leaving dos. What really makes parties here memorable is having our micropub directly downstairs. Your guests can pop down to choose from rotating cask and keg beers from independent breweries, including our own Shirker's Best bitter starting at £3.80. Our crisp collection has achieved minor celebrity status, particularly the SLABS, which several regulars insist count as dinner. Yard Sale Pizza delivers free from 4pm, solving your catering in one delicious move. The space stays exclusively yours until 5pm for day events, after which the upstairs might open to other customers if there's room. For evening parties, the whole setup flows naturally, your private space above, the friendly pub below, and even our small outdoor area (the A20 Lounge) for those needing fresh air between toasts.
