Step through the garden gate and follow the winding brick paths that connect intimate spaces perfect for mingling. We've arranged the planting chronologically, so your drinks reception might start among heritage roses and medicinal herbs, then flow naturally into areas showcasing later garden fashions. The structured hedges and carefully placed topiaries create natural boundaries between conversation groups, while colourful irises, fragrant roses, and seasonal blooms provide talking points throughout your event. The Period Gardens work beautifully for summer parties and barbecues, with space for up to 80 guests to move freely between the different garden rooms. Our Grade I listed almshouses provide an elegant backdrop, their weathered brick and historic windows creating atmosphere without any decoration needed.
