Red brick walls frame The William Morris Function Room, where up to 80 of your guests can party above the flowing River Wandle. Step through the doors of our upstairs space and you'll find rustic wooden floors that have hosted countless celebrations, from milestone birthdays to company parties where colleagues finally let their hair down. Our private terrace changes everything. Your guests wander out with drinks in hand, chatting over the gentle sound of the water below while others stay inside dancing. We've watched summer parties flow seamlessly between the function room and balcony, with the large windows keeping everyone connected even when they're in different spaces. The dedicated bar means no queuing downstairs, just your own bartender keeping glasses full throughout the night. The room works brilliantly however you want to use it, with space for 50 seated guests when you're serving our famous Wagyu burgers or Sunday roasts, or 80 standing when the focus shifts to dancing. We set up tables for dining then clear them for the party afterwards, while the audio system connects to your phone for whatever playlist gets your crowd moving. Need to show a birthday video or company presentation? Our projector has you covered. Winter parties take on a different character here, with warm lighting reflecting off exposed brick and guests tucking into sharing platters before hitting the dancefloor. The heated pergola downstairs offers another escape for those wanting fresh air without the chill. Being in Merton Abbey Mills means easy access from across the city, with transport links nearby that help everyone get home safely after a proper celebration.
