The Parlour strikes the perfect balance between private celebration and pub atmosphere. This semi-private space on the first floor accommodates up to 25 guests, whether you're arranging tables for a seated birthday dinner or keeping things fluid for standing drinks and canapés. Natural light pours through the large windows throughout the day, illuminating the warm wooden furnishings we introduced during our November 2024 refurbishment. The walls feature a curated collection of mirrors and artwork that gives the room its own distinct character, while still feeling connected to the energy of The George IV below. We've installed a flatscreen TV for presentations or entertainment, and the flexible layout means you can configure tables and chairs to match your event style. Your guests will appreciate having their own bar access within The Parlour, stocked with Fuller's London Pride, ESB, craft beers, and our full wine selection. Our kitchen team prepares everything from substantial pub classics to lighter party platters, with halal and gluten-free options always available. The alcohol licence runs until 11 PM, giving you plenty of time for toasts and celebrations. The Parlour works brilliantly for milestone birthdays where you want somewhere more special than home but more intimate than a full venue hire. Baby showers and anniversary parties feel particularly at home here, with enough space for games and mingling without losing that cosy atmosphere. Small corporate gatherings benefit from the relaxed setting, especially when you want to transition from business to social without changing venues.
