The Dining Room sits upstairs away from the pub bustle, where our original Victorian fireplace still works its magic on winter evenings. We've preserved the rich oak wall panels that have witnessed countless toasts and deals sealed over dinner since this building first opened its doors. The mahogany table runs the length of the room, comfortably seating 12 guests who appreciate the weight of proper furniture and the stories embedded in every grain. Natural light pours through our large windows during daytime meetings, catching the brass fixtures and illuminating the antler sconces we've carefully positioned along the walls. Come evening, our pendant lights and wall sconces create that perfect glow for lingering over port and cheese. The mantelpiece displays rotating artwork from local artists, adding contemporary touches to this thoroughly traditional space. Our kitchen team excels at creating memorable dining experiences here. The Feast Menu has become rather famous among regular bookers, particularly the rare breed Beef Wellington that we carve at the table, or the whole roast suckling pig that never fails to spark conversation.
