The LOUNGE reception area sits on the ground floor of Wimborne House, where those stunning arched windows catch the morning light and transform the space throughout the day. We've kept the original wood panelling that runs along the walls, paired with restored parquet flooring that adds warmth to every gathering. The olive-green tufted sofas that line the room have become a talking point, they're as comfortable as they look and create natural conversation areas for your guests. Our bar and coffee station anchor one end of the room, fully equipped for whatever style of party you're planning. The space works beautifully for 60 guests at a standing reception, or we can arrange seating for 30 if you're hosting a more intimate dinner party. Many clients start their events here before moving upstairs to our studio spaces, though the LOUNGE holds its own for smaller celebrations. The practical details matter when you're hosting: our PA system handles everything from background music to speeches, while the flatscreen TV and projector work for presentations or photo slideshows. Air conditioning keeps the atmosphere comfortable even when the party's in full swing, and Wi-Fi runs throughout for those Instagram moments. We welcome external caterers and DJs, just let us know your plans in advance.
