The mahogany doors swing open to reveal the Main Hall's extraordinary proportions, where 311 square metres of sprung wooden floor awaits your celebration. We've hosted everything from 400-guest cocktail receptions to intimate banquets for 180, and each event brings out different qualities in this late Victorian masterpiece. The vaulted ceiling soars above, decorated with cherub-clad covings that catch the light from our candelabra chandeliers. Your guests will enter through our marbled corridor, emerging into a space where grand granite and marble columns frame the room. The polished mahogany stage, complete with gently curving stairs on either side, becomes a natural focal point, whether you're planning speeches, live performances, or your first dance. Original oil paintings and carved wooden crests line the walls, while stained-glass windows cast patterns across the sprung floor throughout the day. We've installed contemporary technology throughout, including data projectors, plasma screens, and a complete sound system that works seamlessly with the hall's remarkable acoustics. The seated balcony provides additional viewing space for larger gatherings, and we can configure the room for theatre-style seating (340 guests), classroom layout (135), or cabaret tables (230). The adjoining Cadogan Suite flows naturally from the Main Hall, creating an ideal space for pre-dinner drinks or quieter conversations. Recently transformed, this intimate room features an ornate fireplace and floods with natural daylight, providing a warm contrast to the grandeur next door. Together, these spaces offer flexibility for multi-part celebrations, from wedding ceremonies to reception parties. King's Road places you in the heart of Chelsea, with Sloane Square tube station just minutes away. Multiple bus routes stop directly outside, making arrival straightforward for all your guests.
