The Exclusive Hire option at Hoppers Marylebone transforms both floors of our Wigmore Street restaurant into your private Sri Lankan dining experience. With space for up to 90 guests across two distinct levels, we've created environments that adapt naturally to different party styles, from flowing cocktail receptions to seated banquets. Your guests enter through our ground floor, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame the Marylebone streetscape and daylight streams across monochromatic surfaces softened by tropical plants. We've arranged the furniture here to encourage mingling, with clusters of sofas and elegant chairs creating natural conversation spots around our main bar. The bartenders work their magic with Sri Lankan spices, muddling fresh curry leaves into cocktails and shaking drinks with cardamom-infused syrups that complement the food perfectly. Downstairs reveals a completely different mood. We've wrapped this floor in darker tones and warmer lighting, creating pockets of intimacy even when hosting larger groups. Four semi-private dining vaults line the space, each accommodating 8-12 guests who want their own corner while remaining part of the broader celebration. The lower bar becomes a second focal point, particularly useful when guests naturally divide between floors during drinks receptions. Our kitchen sends out the dishes that have become signatures, Hot Butter Squid arrives at tables with its distinctive aroma, while vegetarian guests discover our Plantain & Moju Cutlets and Devilled Paneer. The hoppers themselves often steal the show, especially when we demonstrate the traditional preparation for curious guests. Both floors connect seamlessly for events, allowing natural flow between the bright upper level and moodier lower space. During warmer months, our outdoor terrace extends your party options further.
