Our 1st Floor space carries all the character you'd expect from The Elgin, with exposed brick walls that catch the afternoon sun streaming through those floor-to-ceiling windows. The original wooden boards beneath your feet have hosted countless celebrations, from raucous 30th birthdays to elegant anniversary parties, and we think they add something special to the atmosphere. We can arrange tables for 80 of your guests, or clear the floor for up to 100 people if you prefer everyone mingling with drinks in hand. The private bar up here means no queuing downstairs, and our bartenders know their way around both classic cocktails and whatever your uncle insists on drinking. The projector and screen have shown everything from baby photos at christenings to company achievement videos at work parties, while our PA system handles speeches without that awful feedback screech. The fairy lights we've strung across the ceiling work their magic once darkness falls, transforming the brick and wood into something rather romantic.
