We've hosted everything from fashion shows between the stone pillars to candlelit weddings under these ancient vaulted ceilings, each event taking on the unique character of this extraordinary space. The Crypts transform beautifully depending on your vision. For grand receptions, we arrange the space to accommodate 350 guests who can move freely between the historic tombs and architectural features. When you prefer seated dining, we set round tables for 250 guests, with careful attention to sightlines so everyone enjoys views of the magnificent stonework. Some clients choose our long table configuration, seating 120 guests down the length of the crypt for an intimate feast surrounded by centuries of history. Our events team works with the natural architecture here, using ambient lighting to highlight the vaulted ceilings and warm the honey-coloured stone. We position floral arrangements to complement rather than compete with the surroundings, and candlelight adds atmosphere without overwhelming the space's inherent drama. The acoustics, shaped by stone and centuries, create an intimate feeling even during larger gatherings. Modern requirements haven't been forgotten amongst all this history. We've installed discreet Wi-Fi throughout and our PA system ensures speeches carry clearly to every corner.
