We've welcomed up to 100 guests here for standing receptions, with the room's generous proportions allowing everyone to move comfortably between conversations. For seated occasions, we arrange tables for 80, whether you're planning an elegant wedding breakfast or corporate dinner. The ornate plasterwork ceiling draws eyes upward, while our carefully restored Georgian details create an atmosphere you won't find anywhere else in York. The minstrel's gallery overlooking the room has hosted string quartets, jazz bands, and solo performers, with the acoustics carrying music beautifully throughout the space.
