The Galleries at our museum transform from educational space by day to atmospheric party venue by night, with blue uplighting washing across original timber beams and exposed brick walls that have stood here since this was a working Georgian warehouse. We've hosted everything from corporate cocktail receptions to themed parties in this space, which comfortably holds up to 150 standing guests. Running your event through eleven distinct galleries means your guests naturally flow between conversations while discovering the stories built into these walls. Victorian Wapping leads into Sailortown, each section offering its own pocket of history. We often see groups gathering around the exhibits, drinks in hand, using them as conversation starters. Some hosts even arrange for costumed actors to mingle with guests, bringing the maritime tales to life. Our long wooden tables work brilliantly for buffet setups or cocktail stations, and we dress them with candles and florals to match your theme. The warehouse windows flood the space with natural light during afternoon events, though we should mention it can get warm on particularly sunny days, even with air conditioning running. Evening events take on a completely different character when the uplighting kicks in, creating drama against the rustic wooden floors. Our in-house kitchen handles everything from canapés to full buffets, with halal, kosher, vegan and gluten-free options readily available. The bar setup flows seamlessly into the gallery space, and we've got all the technical bits sorted with WiFi and sound equipment throughout. Getting here couldn't be easier, with Westferry DLR station just moments away. The contrast between Canary Wharf's glass towers visible through our windows and the heritage surroundings creates an atmosphere you won't find anywhere else in London.
