The Workshop combines exposed brick walls with floods of natural light from our large windows, creating a space that feels both warm and contemporary. We've kept the industrial character of the room while adding modern touches like sleek metal chairs and distinctive wall lighting that our guests always comment on. With capacity for up to 65 standing guests or 40 seated, we can configure the space however works best for your event. Our private bar means your group won't be queuing with other pub-goers, and we've installed a large screen and projector that's proved popular for everything from corporate presentations to screening the football during birthday parties. The wooden tables and flexible layout let us set up boardroom style for 20, theatre configuration for 40, or banquet seating for 36. We're just moments from Herne Hill station, making it easy for your guests to find us. Being part of a Grade II-listed Georgian building gives the space real character, while practical touches like our PA system and WiFi keep things running smoothly. The room works brilliantly for corporate events during the day, then transforms for evening celebrations. Our in-house kitchen serves seasonal pub classics, and the private bar stays open until 11pm. If some of your party want to stay over, we have 12 boutique bedrooms upstairs with Egyptian cotton sheets and en-suite bathrooms. The space has step-free access, and yes, dogs are welcome too. From wedding receptions that spill out into our garden terrace to work Christmas parties that actually feel like a proper celebration, The Workshop gives you all the flexibility of a modern events space with the atmosphere only a proper pub can provide.
