Four garden decks stretch across our converted barge, creating an extraordinary party space right on Regent's Canal. From the towpath at Goods Way, you'll step aboard what was once a cinema boat, now transformed into this green sanctuary using recycled materials and creative input from local young people. The Floating Garden works brilliantly for celebrations, our interior cabin opens directly onto planted decks where herbs, wildflowers and vegetables grow in raised beds. Picture your guests gathered around our long wooden table, which seats 12 comfortably, while canal water laps gently against the hull. Natural light pours through the cabin windows, framing views of passing narrowboats and the surrounding N1 neighbourhood. For larger gatherings, we can accommodate 24 standing guests across the whole vessel. The outdoor decks come alive in the evening when overhead lights illuminate the plants and create an intimate atmosphere. We've hosted everything from birthday parties to engagement celebrations here, each one making use of the space differently. Some groups set up the projector for wedding slideshows, others transform the decks into cocktail reception areas. Our kitchen provides basic prep facilities, and you're welcome to bring your own caterers, we operate a BYO alcohol policy with guidelines we'll share during booking. The combination of indoor and outdoor spaces means your party flows naturally, with guests moving between the cabin's warmth and the fresh air of the decks. While the barge stays moored throughout your event, there's something special about celebrating on water. Canal life drifts past as your party unfolds among the plants, creating moments you won't find in any traditional venue. King's Cross station sits just minutes away, making arrival simple for all your guests.
