The Britannia Room up on our 7th floor gets the best light in the building, with those floor-to-ceiling windows pulling in sunshine from dawn till dusk. At 837 square feet, it's one of our more intimate spaces, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in those knockout views across Shoreditch, with the Gherkin poking up through the skyline. We've kept the design clean and unfussy, just a long wooden table, comfortable chairs, and neutral walls that let you make the space your own. The room works brilliantly for all sorts of gatherings, whether you're planning a birthday celebration, product launch, or drinks reception. We can arrange the furniture however suits your party best, from theatre-style rows to cabaret tables, or clear it all out for a standing reception that holds up to 100 guests. The private balcony is what really sets this room apart, 345 square feet of outdoor space where your guests can step out with their drinks and take in the city views. On summer evenings, people tend to drift between inside and out, and that flow creates a relaxed, sociable atmosphere that works particularly well for celebrations. Tech-wise, we've got everything covered with our teleconferencing systems, multi-zone audio, and portable projection screens, though most party organisers find the audio system is all they need for background music or speeches. The Wi-Fi handles whatever your guests throw at it, from social media uploads to streaming playlists. Getting here couldn't be easier, with Shoreditch High Street Overground just a short walk away.
