The Main Restaurant at Browns West India Quay brings together everything that makes our converted warehouse special, from the exposed brickwork to those original timber beams that have been here since the 1800s. We've kept the character intact while creating a space that works brilliantly for modern celebrations. Walking through from our ground floor, you'll find this room has its own personality, with a grand piano in the corner that gets plenty of use during wedding receptions and birthday parties. The central chandelier throws warm light across the original pillars and low ceilings, creating an atmosphere that photographers particularly love. We can seat 60 for formal dinners or accommodate 50 guests for standing receptions, and the layout flexes depending on what you need. The mix of banquette seating and individual chairs means your guests stay comfortable throughout long celebrations, while the polished tables reflect the candlelight beautifully in the evenings. Natural light pours through the large windows during daytime events, giving you views across the Docklands that remind everyone they're somewhere special. Our fully stocked bar runs the length of one wall, and yes, we're licensed until midnight. Our kitchen team handles everything from three-course wedding breakfasts to canapé receptions, with proper vegan and gluten-free options that actually taste good. The projector and WiFi come in handy for speeches and presentations, while the air conditioning keeps everyone comfortable even when the dance floor fills up. The space works equally well for milestone birthdays, anniversary dinners, and wedding receptions. Being just five minutes from both DLR stations means your guests won't struggle to find us, and our car park takes the stress out of driving here.
