The Canal Room catches you off guard when you first walk in. One wall is nothing but glass doors that fold completely open, bringing Birmingham's canal life right into your event. We've watched wedding guests pause mid-conversation to watch narrowboats glide past, and corporate teams suddenly relax when they realise their meeting room has actual character. This converted canalside space works brilliantly for all sorts of gatherings. The exposed brick walls have become a talking point at every party we've hosted here, while the vintage-style lighting creates just the right mood whether you're celebrating a milestone birthday or hosting drinks after a product launch. We can fit 60 of your guests for standing receptions, arrange tables for 30 diners, or set up boardroom seating for 45. Those bi-folding doors transform the whole experience. In summer, we open them wide onto our courtyard, effectively doubling your party space. Even in winter, the canal views through floor-to-ceiling glass make everything feel less confined than typical function rooms.
