Our Exclusive Hire space transforms Berenjak Borough into your own private Persian townhouse, where up to 26 guests can gather around tables arranged in a welcoming U-shape that brings everyone into the conversation. The first-floor dining room overlooks Borough Market through large windows, filling the space with natural light during afternoon celebrations and market energy come evening. We've kept the original brickwork and added layers of texture through carefully chosen pieces from Iran, creating rooms that feel collected rather than decorated. One of our favourite features remains the dining table that converts to a pool table once the feasting winds down, turning formal dinners into relaxed late-night gatherings. Our kitchen sends up sharing platters designed for passing around the table. The Chelow Kabab Chenjeh arrives with its signature crispy ta-dig, while slow-cooked lamb shanks come nested in dill and broad bean rice. For larger groups, we often prepare whole rotisserie chickens brightened with barberries and fresh Shirazi salad. The wine list now includes bottles from Israel, Morocco and Lebanon specifically chosen to complement Persian flavours. TV screens discreetly mounted around the room can display anything from match broadcasts during birthday parties to presentations for corporate gatherings. The space naturally accommodates both formal seated dinners and more relaxed celebrations where guests move between dining and socialising. Whether you're planning an intimate family gathering or taking over both floors for a larger celebration, we create the kind of long, leisurely meals that keep conversations flowing well into the evening, much like the dinner parties we remember from family homes in Tehran.
