Our Function Room transforms from morning workshops to evening celebrations with the flip of a switch. This 80-square-metre space catches sunlight through floor-to-ceiling windows that run along one wall, creating patterns across our polished tile floors throughout the day. We've arranged the room with moveable armchairs and desks that shift from seminar rows to cocktail clusters in minutes, accommodating 40 seated guests or 60 mingling with drinks in hand. The whiteboard stays mounted for presentations, but we often see it become part of the creative process, covered in brainstorming notes during product launches or decorated with messages during birthday parties. Our contemporary grid ceiling houses adjustable lighting that dims for film screenings or brightens for detailed workshop activities. The colourful accents we've added, from vibrant cushions to quirky wall art, reflect the creative energy that flows through Metre Squared. We built this room using our signature approach of creative reuse, incorporating salvaged materials that add unexpected character. The eclectic furnishings tell their own stories, much like the flip-flops on our walls elsewhere in the building. Everything rolls, stacks, or folds away, letting you shape the space for your specific needs. Our full alcohol and catering licence means we can serve anything from morning coffee to evening cocktails, with menus tailored to your event. The Isle of Dogs location puts you minutes from public transport, making it easy for guests to find us.
