The New Yorker Room celebrates the maritime connection between two great port cities, with our specially commissioned "Liverpool New York" sign marking this historic link. We've created this private dining space for 18 guests around a single grand table, where conversations flow as easily as the wine. Deep teal leather chairs invite your guests to settle in for proper meals and proper conversations. The dark wood panelling creates an intimate atmosphere, while our restored globe lights, original features from the building's 1920s heyday, cast just the right amount of warmth across the table. During daytime events, natural light streams through the arched windows, bringing a different character to the space entirely. We've equipped the room with everything modern events require: reliable Wi-Fi, air conditioning that actually works, and audio-visual capabilities for presentations. But what makes evenings here special are the sharing platters that emerge from our kitchen, our signature steaks arriving in cast-iron skillets, meant to be passed around the table family-style. Our wine team can guide you through pairings, or our bartenders can create something bespoke for your group. The room works equally well for board meetings as it does for birthday dinners or corporate celebrations. We're tucked just off Castle Street, making it easy for guests arriving from Moorfields or James Street stations, both a short walk away. The entire space is wheelchair accessible, something we made sure of when restoring this Grade II-listed building. Whether you're toasting a deal, marking an anniversary, or gathering your team for strategic planning over proper food, The New Yorker Room offers privacy without feeling cut off from the energy of our main restaurant.
