The brass-trimmed ceiling lights in our India Buildings home tell quite a story - they started life as Parisian street lamps before we rescued and transformed them into the fixtures that now cast a warm glow over our 165-cover restaurant. We're Hawksmoor Liverpool, and our Grade II-listed space near Castle Street brings together the best of 1920s grandeur with the comfort modern diners expect. Walking across our warm timber floors, you'll notice the brass and wood-topped tables we sourced from old chemistry labs - each one carries its own history. The entire space reflects that era of grand optimism, from the original building fittings we've carefully preserved to the Art Deco touches throughout. Our 30-cover bar area serves as both a gathering spot for pre-dinner cocktails and a destination in its own right, where our bartenders craft award-winning drinks. We've built our reputation on dry-aged steaks and sustainably sourced seafood, with our Sunday roast earning particular acclaim. The mixed grill showcases our range of meats alongside carefully chosen sides. For private parties and events, our New Yorker Room seats up to 18 guests around one large table - we designed it to celebrate Liverpool's historic connection to New York. When you need the entire venue, we can accommodate up to 140 seated guests for exclusive celebrations. Getting here couldn't be easier - we're a short walk from both Moorfields and James Street train stations, and our space is fully wheelchair accessible.
