Our first-floor function room has been Camden's worst-kept secret since 1843, hosting everything from raucous birthday parties to intimate wedding receptions. Natural light pours through the original leaded windows, illuminating the Victorian wood paneling and that eye-catching mural our regulars can't stop photographing. We've kept the character features that make this space special, those vintage chandeliers and mismatched wooden furniture that somehow work perfectly together. Each table tells its own story, while fresh flowers add a touch of colour against the warm wood tones. The room holds up to 100 guests for standing receptions, 80 for seated dinners, or 90 in theatre-style seating when you need everyone facing forward. The private bar up here stocks everything from our house-brewed Laine beer to carefully chosen wines and spirits. We've installed a dedicated PA system, so whether you're making wedding speeches or cranking up the birthday playlist, everyone hears every word and beat. The bar team knows their stuff too, mixing cocktails between pulling pints and keeping glasses topped up all night. Being right in the heart of Camden means your guests can easily find us, with transport links on our doorstep. The space works brilliantly for wedding receptions, birthday parties, and any celebration where you want your own floor of a proper Victorian pub.
