The W Roof Pavilion takes centre stage on Level 6 of our cultural complex, where floor-to-ceiling windows frame some of London's most photographed landmarks. Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye create a backdrop that transforms throughout the day, from morning meetings bathed in eastern light to sunset celebrations painted in golden hues. We've watched countless celebrations unfold in this versatile space. The polished wooden floors and contemporary furnishings provide a sophisticated canvas that adapts effortlessly to your vision, whether you're planning an elegant wedding for 110 seated guests or a lively birthday party for 220 mingling friends. The room flows naturally between configurations, accommodating 150 for presentations, 60 in cabaret style, or 25 around our boardroom setup. What sets this pavilion apart is the full-length balcony running alongside the main room. Your guests can step outside with their drinks, taking in the Thames stretching below while the city sparkles around them. The private courtyard, tucked away on our original 1950s rooftop, offers a second outdoor space where sculptural seating creates intimate conversation spots away from the main party. Natural daylight pours through the glass walls throughout the day, eliminating the need for harsh artificial lighting during daytime events. As evening approaches, the city lights create their own ambiance, turning the space into a glowing jewel box suspended above the South Bank. Our location along the Thames means your guests arrive easily from Waterloo, Embankment or Westminster stations. The cultural energy of our arts centre, with its restaurants, bars and riverside walkways, extends your event beyond the pavilion walls.
