Our fire-red bifold doors swing open to welcome you into The Hydrant's Whole Venue, where we've transformed both floors of Equitable House into your private London playground. From our ground floor bar with its chevron tiles catching the afternoon light to the mezzanine's more intimate corners, every space tells its own story while working together for your event. We've kept the original fire station character alive through copper fixtures and rustic wood details, but paired them with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the Monument to the Great Fire of London, just across the street. Natural light pours through during daytime events, while evening gatherings take on a different energy as our professional lighting systems set the mood you're after. The ground floor flows naturally from our main bar area into open spaces perfect for mingling, while upstairs the mezzanine offers its own private bar and cozy seating areas where conversations can continue away from the main crowd. We can accommodate 300 guests for standing receptions or seat 150 comfortably for dinner, with our team configuring the space to match your vision. Our kitchen serves everything from relaxed buffets featuring American diner-inspired small plates to formal three-course dinners showcasing modern British pub classics. The bar stocks craft beers, real ales, and seasonal cocktails, with our alcohol license running until 11pm and extensions available when you need them. Monument Underground Station sits practically underneath us, with Cannon Street and Bank both within a five-minute walk. We're dog-friendly too, so four-legged guests can join the celebration.
