This distinguished dining space seats 22 guests around a single magnificent table of polished wood, its surface reflecting the soft glow from period table lamps positioned throughout the room. Heavy green curtains frame tall windows that flood the space with natural light during lunch service, while evenings bring an intimate warmth as the lamps cast gentle pools of light across the table. Each carved chair, upholstered in neutral fabric, invites long conversations over multiple courses. The room's proportions create perfect acoustics for lively dinner party discussions without overwhelming quieter moments. We find The Edinburgh Room works beautifully for several dining formats. Corporate lunch meetings benefit from the focused boardroom setup, where all 22 guests can engage easily across the table. Private dinner parties love the room's ability to feel both grand and personal. For larger celebrations, we often use the space for pre-dinner drinks, comfortably hosting up to 50 guests who can mingle while admiring the naval artwork before moving to dinner elsewhere in the clubhouse.
