The Balcony Room transforms weddings into something extraordinary. We've watched countless couples exchange vows against our floor-to-ceiling French windows, with the Thames flowing past and St. Paul's dome rising in the distance. This penthouse space feels both intimate and grand, a rare combination in central London. Our Tom Kirk chandelier catches everyone's attention first. Crafted from 1,200 hand-blown glass cylinders, it casts dancing light patterns across the elegant green paneled walls throughout your celebration. The space opens onto a private balcony where guests naturally gather for champagne toasts, the river breeze adding its own magic to the moment. At the heart of the room sits our remarkable oak table, hewn from a tree that fell during the Great Storm of 1987. We've seen it dressed with cascading florals for wedding breakfasts, cleared for dancing, and surrounded by 70 seated guests sharing in the joy of the day. For larger celebrations, the room comfortably holds 120 for drinks receptions, with guests moving freely between the indoor space and balcony. Henri Matisse's vibrant 'Jazz' prints line our walls, adding splashes of colour that photographers particularly love. The private bar keeps champagne flowing, while our cloakroom and lift access mean your guests, including elderly relatives, move through the space with ease. Transport couldn't be simpler.
