At Victory Pub & Kitchen, our Waiting Room sits right above the main concourse of Waterloo Station, where railway history meets modern celebration. This semi-private space has become our go-to spot for groups wanting their own corner while still feeling the pub's energy around them. Step through to find deep red leather banquettes running along the walls, paired with wooden tables that have hosted everything from birthday toasts to Friday night catch-ups. The room holds 40 standing or 20 seated, though we find most parties prefer the standing setup, it keeps things flowing naturally between the bar and your group. Those exposed brick walls aren't just for show, they're original to the building, now covered in our collection of framed artwork that guests often wander over to examine between conversations. Above, the industrial ceiling with its visible ductwork reminds you you're in a converted railway space, while the windows let daylight stream across the wooden floors during afternoon gatherings. We've fitted the space with air conditioning that actually works, crucial when you've got 40 people raising glasses on a warm evening. The flatscreen TV tucks discretely into one corner, handy for those birthday photo montages or quick presentation slides at corporate drinks. Wi-Fi reaches every corner, strong enough for all those inevitable group selfies.
