Red leather seats line the walls of our Clock Room, their rich colour catching the light from vintage lamps overhead. This snug space at the back of The Crown Tavern wraps your party in dark wood panelling and decades of collected photographs, each frame adding another layer to the room's character. We've arranged the space to hold 30 standing guests comfortably, or 20 when everyone's seated around our mix of tables. The traditional partition gives you privacy without cutting you off completely from the pub's energy. Your guests can easily slip out to the main bar for another round or step into our street-side drinking area when they fancy some fresh air. We find this flow works particularly well for birthday celebrations and anniversaries, where people naturally drift between chatting in small groups and coming together for toasts. Those vintage photographs covering our walls become conversation starters throughout the evening. Combined with the wood panelling and period details, they create the kind of atmosphere that makes phone cameras come out all night long. The room's intimate scale means nobody gets lost in a corner, yet there's enough space for people to move around and mingle properly.
