The Dining Room sits on the second floor of The Duchess, where wood-paneled walls meet high ceilings in a space that feels both traditional and refreshingly modern. Since our 2022 refurbishment, we've watched countless birthday parties unfold here, business deals discussed over proper British food, and wedding receptions that spill into the early hours. What makes this room special is the private bar we've tucked into the corner. Your group of up to 40 standing guests, or 24 seated around our tables, won't need to venture downstairs when glasses run empty. Our bartenders work right there in the room, mixing reimagined classics or pouring from our wine and craft beer selection while conversations flow uninterrupted. Natural light pours through the large windows during daytime events, illuminating the mix of pastel and floral-patterned chairs that add character to the space. We've hung carefully chosen artwork on those wood panels, creating an atmosphere that works equally well for milestone birthdays or team celebrations where people actually want to linger. Our kitchen sends up everything from sharing platters to full three-course dinners, all made with ingredients from local suppliers. The Sunday roasts have become something of a legend among regular party bookings. We'll work with you to create the right menu, whether you're planning relaxed drinks and nibbles or a formal seated dinner. The room comes with free Wi-Fi and a PA system for background music or presentations. We're happy to accommodate any technical requirements for corporate events or help you set up your own playlist for celebrations. Being just a short walk from Oxford Circus, Bond Street, and Marble Arch stations means your guests can easily pop over from Oxford Street or straight from work, finding themselves in a proper British pub setting with all the privacy your event deserves.
