The corner booth catches everyone's eye first, with its curved leather seating that wraps around wooden tables polished smooth by countless celebrations. We've carved out The Nook as our most intimate space at Alfi, where groups of up to 15 seated or 20 standing can create their own atmosphere while still feeling connected to the energy of Spitalfields Market just outside. Soft pendant lights hang at different heights above the tables, creating pools of warm light that make everyone look good in photos. We've arranged the space with a mix of cushioned benches along the walls and moveable wooden chairs, so you can configure things however works best for your group. The eclectic artwork on our walls changes seasonally, picked by our team from local East London artists, adding unexpected conversation starters throughout the evening. What makes The Nook special for parties is how it balances privacy with accessibility. Your group has its own defined space, but you're still close enough to nip out to the bocce courts on our terrace when competitive spirits rise. The semi-private setup means you control the vibe while our staff can easily keep drinks flowing and plates of flame-grilled octopus or burrata arriving at just the right moments. We've hosted everything here from 40th birthday dinners where old friends reconnect over natural wine poured straight from tap, to team celebrations that start with focused toasts and end with impromptu dance parties.
