The Stock Room feels like discovering a private club that's been quietly perfecting hospitality since the 1600s. Rich oak panels line every wall, each one hand-carved when Charles II was still on the throne, while armorial shields tell stories of past Masters, including HRH the Duke of Windsor who once presided here. We love watching guests' reactions when they first walk in. The afternoon sun catches the crystal chandelier just right, throwing patterns across the ornate plasterwork ceiling. Those large windows flood the space with natural light during daytime events, though come evening, the room transforms into something rather special, the warm wood glowing under carefully positioned lighting. For parties, the hardwood floors handle everything from cocktail receptions to proper dancing.
