This is the Oubliette, our most atmospheric space tucked deep within the railway tunnels beneath Waterloo Station. We've preserved every bit of the room's underground character. Exposed brickwork runs the length of the space, and those distinctive arched ceilings create an intimate cave-like feeling that transforms any gathering into something memorable. The abstract street art across the walls adds raw energy to the industrial backdrop, giving your event an edge you simply won't find in conventional venues. The Oubliette accommodates up to 60 guests in theatre-style seating, though we regularly reconfigure the space for different party formats. Our modern sound system fills the curved walls perfectly, while the lighting setup lets you shift the mood from moody and mysterious to bright and energetic. The natural acoustics of the tunnel mean live performances and DJs sound incredible here. What really works about this room is how the architecture does half the decorating for you. Those pendant lights create pools of warm light against the rough brick, and the graffiti art provides instant atmosphere.
