Pop Box's rustic wooden floors have witnessed everything from startup pitches to 50th birthday celebrations, corporate away days to underground film premieres. We built this space from shipping containers, keeping the exposed metal walls and industrial framework that give it real character, then added the technical capabilities modern events demand. The room holds 150 people standing or 90 in theatre layout, with flexibility to arrange it however works best, whether that's cabaret style for 50, classroom setup for 90, or banquet configuration for 80 guests. Our PA system, projector, and professional lighting rigs mean you're covered for presentations, performances, or parties. That neon Pop Brixton sign on the wall makes for brilliant photos, while the colourful murals add energy without overwhelming your own event styling. Natural light pours through the large windows during daytime events, transforming the atmosphere completely from our evening gatherings when the lighting rigs take over. We've found the contrast between raw container walls and warm wooden flooring creates a backdrop that adapts to formal conferences just as naturally as relaxed social celebrations. Our venue sits minutes from Brixton Station, making it straightforward for guests arriving from across London. The space is fully wheelchair accessible, and we work with our approved caterers to handle everything from working lunches to cocktail receptions. Our alcohol licence runs until midnight, giving you flexibility for evening events. The creative businesses and food vendors throughout Pop Brixton create an atmosphere you won't find in conventional venues. Your guests can grab Korean tacos before your event or stay for drinks in our communal spaces afterwards.
