The Café at Second Home Spitalfields opens onto Hanbury Street through walls of curved glass that catch the afternoon sun and turn it into something special. We've furnished this adaptable space with bright orange seating that energises every gathering, from startup product launches to intimate private dinners that run late into the evening. Our café accommodates 55 guests seated comfortably around tables, or 75 standing with room to mingle between the eclectic furniture we've carefully chosen. The curved glass architecture creates natural conversation zones while maintaining an open flow throughout the room. Natural light pours in during daytime events, while evening gatherings benefit from the warm glow of our considered lighting design. We've equipped the space with everything needed for professional presentations: high-speed WiFi, PA system with microphones, and a TV screen available on request that connects to both Mac and PC. The acoustics work particularly well for panel discussions and talks, where speakers can be heard clearly without straining. Our in-house catering team knows the space intimately and can craft menus to match your event, though you're welcome to bring external caterers if you prefer. Available for evening hire Monday through Friday and throughout weekends, with a minimum three-hour booking, the café transforms effortlessly from daytime workspace to event venue.
